Excel Roadster DX8 Scooter: A compact and reliable mobility aid.
The Excel Roadster DX8 is a mid-sized 8mph rental scooter, meaning it can be driven on roads as well as pavements. The simple to use dashboard has a battery indicator, so you’ll always be able to check how much charge you’ve got left on your journeys out.
Equipped with two 34Ah batteries, when fully charged this rental mobility scooter can travel for 20 miles*. As such, you’re sure to be able to get into town or to meet friends with ease. The scooter has a maximum user weight of 136kg (21.41 stone) so is suitable for heavier users.

This hire scooter comes with a range of as-standard features to make your time using it as enjoyable as possible. A front shopping basket with a carry handle means you can easily go shopping without having to worry about carrying things home. A
djustable armrests and a luxurious swivel chair makes for an easy transfer from the scooter. The looped tiller allows for finger or thumb steering, so you won’t be leaning too far forward in order to steer. Ideal for those with conditions which limit dexterity, such as arthritis. An attractive LED lighting system means you can see and be seen in poor weather conditions.
A number of comfort features are included
Several comfort features are included on top of the as-standard features. The tiller is angle adjustable to make it easier for you to drive. A non-slip foot mat is also provided to stop your feet slipping in wet conditions.
Lastly, a comfortable Captain’s seat is provided with adjustable height and positioning, making sure that you’re always comfortable no matter where you go or how long you’re in your new mobility scooter. The Excel Roadster DX8 is an ideal hire scooter for a variety of activities.

Engineered Delivery
When you rent from us, we take payment on a weekly or monthly basis depending on how long you require the equipment for. Payments will be taken from the debit or credit card you used at the point of booking until you arrange collection. If you would like to change the card at any time please give the team a call on 0800 111 6234. Our delivery procedure is detailed below.
Our Delivery Procedure
Each of our hire products come with a choice of delivery and collection options to suit you. We provide same day delivery, next day delivery and even weekend deliveries. The office will ring you the working day before to confirm your estimated delivery time.
- Your item or items will arrive with one of our trained delivery drivers who will set up your equipment for you and show you how it works.
- You can then use your equipment for as long as you require.
- Once the time comes for you to return the rental equipment to us give us a call to book this in.
- One of our drivers will arrive on the pre-arranged day to collect the equipment from you and return it back to us.
Ending Your Rental
You can end your rental at any time by contacting a member of our team by telephone on 0800 111 6234 or filling in our contact us form. The hire will conclude 2 working days following notice to allow time for collection. Our office will ring you to confirm the collection time the working day before collection.
If you would like the rental equipment collected from a different address to the delivery address this is not a problem. You can select your different collection address when booking online or you can give our team a call who will be happy to take the different collection address from you.
Collecting In-Store
If you decide to collect your equipment from our store, you will need to phone the office to book a collection slot which is quick, easy and convenient for you.
Please note: if you decide to collect from our showroom, you will need to bring two forms of I.D from the following list:

Driving Licence
A letter from the Department of Work and Pensions
Utility Bills
Bank Statements
