1st payment is due prior to delivery and covers 3 months rental. Ongoing monthly rental payments will then begin 1 month from the date of delivery and then monthly thereafter. If preferable payments can be done 4 weekly rather than calendar monthly.

All long term rental costs are plus delivery & collection.

(Contract is for a minimum of 6 months with 1 months’ notice of cancellation required to end the long term rental).

Bariatric Pressure Care for Hire

The Heritage II Bariatric pressure care dynamic air mattress is a mattress replacement system offering optimal care for patients weighing up to 55 stone (350kg). With a 1200mm width surface and comfort control. This Heritage II Bariatric Mattress provides comfortable care and pressure relief for those considered to be at very high risk of pressure damage.

This rental bariatric  mattress is perfect for heavier users and is suitable for a variety of care and home settings.

Excellent Pressure Reduction & Support for the Larger Patient

This bariatric dynamic air mattress includes a larger 1200mm width surface and is constructed from full width deep 8” alternating cells to provide excellent pressure reduction and support for larger patients. Automatic features on this bariatric mattress protect the patients while providing pressure care without the burden on nursing staff.

Functions such as Auto-Detection and Backrest Mode automatically adjust the cells internal pressures to match the patient’s weight and position ensuring they receive optimised care. Powered by a dual compressor allows the system to provide a range of therapies and care for the larger patient.

Patient Safety & Peace of mind with timed static and variable alternating modes

The Bariatric Heritage II Bariatric has an active 2-cell cycle offering two main therapy modes – Alternating and Static. The alternating mode provides pressure redistribution for the prevention and treatment of pressure sores. This mode offers a choice of a standard 10-minute cycle or extended cycles of 15/20/25/30 minutes. This may be desirable as a patient starts to begin rehabilitation.

The system also features a timed static mode which automatically returns to alternating mode to safe guard the patient against the risk of pressure sores.

Bariatric Pressure Care: Assured Cleanliness and Hygiene

You can be assured of cleanliness and hygiene thanks to the soft 2-way stretch waterproof, vapour permeable PU cover. The welded seams and enclosed 360° zip protect against fluid ingress into the mattress ensuring reduced risk of contamination and compliance with infection control standards.

The cover not only protects the mattress but it also helps to improve the comfort of the patient. Whilst maintaining skin integrity by reducing shear and friction forces.

Important Information

We are very happy to provide you with product information and specifications over the telephone or via email but unfortunately, we are unable to make any product recommendations for you. This is because we do not know your individual circumstances or your health requirements.

When placing an order, this confirms that you have read and accept these delivery terms and conditions. Please note that at the end of the short term hire, the hire will only conclude 2 working days following notice, allowing us time to collect.

PLEASE NOTE YOU MUST KEEP THE EQUIPMENT CLEAN OR COSTS FOR CLEANING WILL BE CHARGED

NB. It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that the hired product will fit through all access doorways and entrance points, to be able to complete a successful delivery or collection. Any re-delivery or re-collection attempts that need to be made in the case where a hired product does not fit through doorways or access points will be chargable to the hirer. Product dimensions and specifications are provided on the website, if you require any additional measurements to ensure successful delivery or collection it is the responsibility of the hirer to contact Mobility Hire and get these measurements.


If a valid VAT Disclaimer is not submitted within 7 days after commencement of the booking, then the VAT will be collected. If a valid VAT Disclaimer is then submitted and a VAT refund authorised, then a £5.00 administration charge will be made to cover time and costs for refunding the VAT


Please note that on the long term rental pricing the first payment is always plus delivery and collection (Please see button ‘Delivery Costs’ above to work out this cost or call the office for a quote).

NEW PRODUCT – A NEW product is just that, brand new and you will be the first user.

FLEET PRODUCT – Carefully prepared this product will have been used, but as we have to service, insure, and repair, then you can benefit from a lesser hire cost. Go for fleet and if you are not happy with the product when it arrives, you can change your rental to a NEW one


TRAVELLING ABROAD: Please note if you are taking any of our hire equipment outside of the country, please be aware that while we are here and very happy to provide you with full telephone or email support, we are unable to provide engineer visits or provision of parts until you are back in the UK.

Engineered Delivery

When you rent from us, we take payment on a weekly or monthly basis depending on how long you require the equipment for.  Payments will be taken from the debit or credit card you used at the point of booking until you arrange collection. If you would like to change the card at any time please give the team a call on 0800 111 6234.  Our delivery procedure is detailed below.

Our Delivery Procedure

Each of our hire products come with a choice of delivery and collection options to suit you.  We provide same day delivery, next day delivery and even weekend deliveries.  The office will ring you the working day before to confirm your estimated delivery time.

  • Your item or items will arrive with one of our trained delivery drivers who will set up your equipment for you and show you how it works.
  • You can then use your equipment for as long as you require.
  • Once the time comes for you to return the rental equipment to us give us a call to book this in.
  • One of our drivers will arrive on the pre-arranged day to collect the equipment from you and return it back to us.

Ending Your Rental

You can end your rental at any time by contacting a member of our team by telephone on 0800 111 6234 or filling in our contact us form.  The hire will conclude 2 working days following notice to allow time for collection.  Our office will ring you to confirm the collection time the working day before collection.

If you would like the rental equipment collected from a different address to the delivery address this is not a problem. You can select your different collection address when booking online or you can give our team a call who will be happy to take the different collection address from you.

Collecting In-Store

If you decide to collect your equipment from our store, you will need to phone the office to book a collection slot which is quick, easy and convenient for you.
Please note:  if you decide to collect from our showroom, you will need to bring two forms of I.D from the following list:
