An Adult Folding Manual Wheelchair to Hire: Compact, Comfortable and User Friendly
Our rental manual wheelchair is compact and incredibly user friendly. This wheelchair has a stable folding aluminium frame meaning it folds quickly and is lightweight. Weighing only 14.9kg, this makes transporting and storing this wheelchair trouble-free. These hospital style wheelchairs are suitable for use in a variety of environments, including at home and out and about.
Manual Wheelchair: Self-Propelled or Rear Wheeled Transit
This manual wheelchair is available as either a self-propelled model or as a small rear-wheel transit model. The self-propelled model features large puncture proof rear wheels allowing the person sitting in the chair to move themselves with ease. However, both these models of wheelchair also come with push handles to allow an attendant to push the chair if required.
Whichever model you choose, you will find this wheelchair simple to manoeuvre, making using it in the house or getting around outdoors effortless and allowing you your independence back.

With a choice of accessories, you can be sure to find a customisable solution to fit your requirements. If you need to be able to stretch your legs out and keep them raised, then our elevating leg rests will allow you to do that with this wheelchair.
If you are travelling and want to be sure of your comfort, then why not add on one of our padded seat cushions. Plus, our rear shopping bags are really useful for storing your belonging or helping to carry any of your shopping.
If you need to take your walking sticks or crutches out with you, you can add a stick holder or two to this rental wheelchair. You can also add a seat belt onto this chair to give you extra peace of mind whilst out and about.
Our basic wheelchair comes with standard leg rests, no cushion and no seat belt as standard, accessories can be ordered in addition.

Hire this product from us for as long as you require giving you the peace of mind that you are choosing the right product and be sure it will fulfil your needs. Courier Delivery
When you rent from us, we take payment on a weekly or monthly basis depending on how long you require the equipment for. Payments will be taken from the debit or credit card you used at the point of booking until you arrange collection. If you would like to change the card at any time please give the team a call on 0800 111 6234.
Courier Delivery Procedure
Each of our hire products come with a choice of delivery and collection options to suit you. We provide same day delivery, next day delivery and even weekend deliveries.
Courier items ordered before 3pm will be available for next working day delivery. Your item(s) will arrive in a custom-made box, which must be kept in order for the equipment to be returned to us.
With an independent courier service Horizon Mobility Ltd [HML] cannot be held responsible for timing on this delivery. HML will make every effort to ensure that the courier resolves their problem as soon as is possible to ensure they complete the service in a full and timely fashion
What to Do When Your Delivery Arrives
After your delivery has been made you will simply need to:
- Remove the packaging (remember to keep this)
- Remove your equipment from its box
- Put your mobility equipment together, if needed, using the instructions provided
- Your equipment is now ready to use
- If anything is unclear, please give one of our team a call on 0800 111 6234 and they will be happy to walk you through the process
You can then use your equipment for as long as you require.
Once the time comes for you to return the rental equipment to us:
- Dismantle the equipment
- Place it back in its packaging
- Call our office and we can book in a day for the courier to collect from you
- A driver will arrive to collect the equipment from you and return it to us
Ending Your Rental
You can end your rental at any time by contacting a member of our team by telephone or filling in our contact us form. The hire will conclude 2 working days following notice to allow time for collection. Our office will ring you to confirm the collection time the day before collection.
If you would like the rental equipment collected from a different address to the delivery address this is not a problem. You can select your different collection address when booking online or you can give our team a call who will be happy to take the different collection address from you.
Collecting In-Store
If you decide to collect your equipment from our store, you will need to phone the office to book a collection slot which is quick, easy and convenient for you.
Please note: if you decide to collect from our showroom, you will need to bring two forms of I.D from the following list:
Passport
Driving Licence
A letter from the Department of Work and Pensions
Utility Bills
Bank Statements
Brochure
