The Invacare Rea Azalea Powered manual wheelchair is a great choice if you require a wheelchair which can manage your postural support and comfort. This wheelchair ensures maximum comfort and support with its tilt in space and reclining functions. This manual powered wheelchair offers you maximum independence thanks to its electric functions.

The Invacare Rea Azalea allows you to adjust your position at the press of a button. Please note that this is not an electric wheelchair or powerchair, but it does have electric tilt and recline functions.

Invacare Rea Azalea Powered Wheelchair: Tilt and Recline Functions

This Rea Azalea wheelchair offers a 25° seat tilt and a 30° recline function, allowing you great flexibility when seated. This wheelchair accommodates a range of positioning requirements, therefore making this a suitable choice for a wide variety of users. The pivot points on the chair closely match your natural pivot points to allow synchronised movements with the chair. This greatly reduces the risk of shear during tilt and recline.

Adjustable backrest for maximum support and comfort

The Flex 3 backrest on the powered Rea Azalea is multi adjustable in height, width and shape. This sturdy backrest allows it to accommodate and support a wide range of user body shapes. For additional safety and to give extra peace of mind, the Azalea has a unique Dual Stability System (DSS). This incorporates weight shifting when tilting and reclining, ensuring stability is maintained at all times.

Tilt and reclining wheelchair with excellent driving qualities

The Invacare Rea Azalea provides you with excellent driving characteristics. It’s available either as a small, rear wheel transit version or as a large rear wheel self-propelled version for the more active user. With both versions, you can be assured of your comfort and safety.

For fleet purchase products we offer a three-month warranty. Powered products come with new batteries.

Important information

We are very happy to provide you with product information and specifications over the telephone or via email but unfortunately, we are unable to make any product recommendations for you. This is because we do not know your individual circumstances or your health requirements.

Wheelchairs are sent next day using an independent courier, orders placed before noon should be with you the following working day. Please read our terms of delivery and collection, placing an order confirms you have read and accept these delivery terms and conditions. Please note that at the end of the short term hire, the hire will only conclude 2 working days following notice, allowing us time to collect.

NB. It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that the hired product will fit through all access doorways and entrance points, to be able to complete a successful delivery or collection. Any re-delivery or re-collection attempts that need to be made in the case where a hired product does not fit through doorways or access points will be chargable to the hirer. Product dimensions and specifications are provided on the website, if you require any additional measurements to ensure successful delivery or collection it is the responsibility of the hirer to contact Mobility Hire and get these measurements.

If a valid VAT Disclaimer is not submitted within 7 days after commencement of the booking, then the VAT will be collected. If a valid VAT Disclaimer is then submitted and a VAT refund authorised, then a £5.00 administration charge will be made to cover time and costs for refunding the VAT

NEW PRODUCT – A NEW product is just that, brand new and you will be the first user.

FLEET PRODUCT – Carefully prepared this product will have been used, but as we have to service, insure, and repair, then you can benefit from a lesser hire cost. Go for fleet and if you are not happy with the product when it arrives, you can change your rental to a NEW one

TRAVELLING ABROAD: Please note if you are taking any of our hire equipment outside of the country, please be aware that while we are here and very happy to provide you with full telephone or email support, we are unable to provide engineer visits or provision of parts until you are back in the UK.
