The Sunrise Jive FXL Powerchair is a for-hire bariatric version of the Jive F. It has a weight capacity of 33.7 stone (240kg) so is suitable for heavier users. A maximum speed of up to 3.7mph and a large range means you’ll be more than happy to go down to the shops or meet up with friends without having to worry about running out of charge!

The Jive F XL is just as reliable at home as it is on the road, thanks to a minimum seat to floor height of 43cm, meaning it fits easily under tables around he home.

Comfortable and reliable

This for-hire powerchair has a Jay Comfort seat and back as standard, so you’ll always have a comfortable ride in this electric wheelchair. Fixed centre mount or swing-away legrests provide comfort and added stability for your legs. A mechanical seat tilt aids circulation and helps to prevent pressure build up. A mechanical back tilt makes sure you’ll always be at the right angle for whatever you need to do.

The Quickie Jive FXL Powerchair can climb kerbs and descend slopes with ease

With a maximum kerb climbing ability of 5cm (2”) and a maximum safe slope of 6° (11%) you’ll find getting around town has never been easier. Solid 14” drive wheels and 9” castor wheels make for easy manoeuvring. They also provide great outdoor performance, so whether you’re at home or in a town or city centre you’ll have the right wheels for the job.

This rental electric wheelchair has also been crash-tested, so you’ll feel even safer when out and about. It’s also easily transferred into vehicles on regular ramps. The Sunrise Quickie Jive FXL powerchair is an ideal choice for someone who is as active outdoors as they are indoors.

We are very happy to provide you with product information and specifications over the telephone or via email but unfortunately, we are unable to make any product recommendations for you. This is because we do not know your individual circumstances or your health requirements.

When placing an order, this confirms that you have read and accept these delivery terms and conditions. Please note that at the end of the short term hire, the hire will only conclude 2 working days following notice, allowing us time to collect.

NB. It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that the hired product will fit through all access doorways and entrance points, to be able to complete a successful delivery or collection. Any re-delivery or re-collection attempts that need to be made in the case where a hired product does not fit through doorways or access points will be chargable to the hirer. Product dimensions and specifications are provided on the website, if you require any additional measurements to ensure successful delivery or collection it is the responsibility of the hirer to contact Mobility Hire and get these measurements.

If a valid VAT Disclaimer is not submitted within 7 days after commencement of the booking, then the VAT will be collected. If a valid VAT Disclaimer is then submitted and a VAT refund authorised, then a £5.00 administration charge will be made to cover time and costs for refunding the VAT

Please note that on the long term rental pricing the first payment is always plus delivery and collection (Please see button ‘Delivery Costs’ above to work out this cost or call the office for a quote).

NEW PRODUCT – A NEW product is just that, brand new and you will be the first user.

FLEET PRODUCT – Carefully prepared this product will have been used, but as we have to service, insure, and repair, then you can benefit from a lesser hire cost. Go for fleet and if you are not happy with the product when it arrives, you can change your rental to a NEW one

TRAVELLING ABROAD: Please note if you are taking any of our hire equipment outside of the country, please be aware that while we are here and very happy to provide you with full telephone or email support, we are unable to provide engineer visits or provision of parts until you are back in the UK.

Engineered Delivery

When you rent from us, we take payment on a weekly or monthly basis depending on how long you require the equipment for. Payments will be taken from the debit or credit card you used at the point of booking until you arrange collection. If you would like to change the card at any time please give the team a call on 0800 111 6234. Our delivery procedure is detailed below.

Our Engineered Delivery Procedure

Each of our hire products come with a choice of delivery and collection options to suit you. We provide same day delivery, next day delivery and even weekend deliveries. The office will ring you the working day before to confirm your estimated delivery time.

Your item or items will arrive with one of our trained delivery drivers who will set up your equipment for you and show you how it works.
You can then use your equipment for as long as you require.
Once the time comes for you to return the rental equipment to us give us a call to book this in.
One of our drivers will arrive on the pre-arranged day to collect the equipment from you and return it back to us.

Ending Your Rental

You can end your rental at any time by contacting a member of our team by telephone on 0800 111 6234 or filling in our contact us form. The hire will conclude 2 working days following notice to allow time for collection. Our office will ring you to confirm the collection time the working day before collection.

If you would like the rental equipment collected from a different address to the delivery address this is not a problem. You can select your different collection address when booking online or you can give our team a call who will be happy to take the different collection address from you.

Collecting In-Store

If you decide to collect your equipment from our store, you will need to phone the office to book a collection slot which is quick, easy and convenient for you.
Please note: if you decide to collect from our showroom, you will need to bring two forms of I.D from the following list:
