From £14.50 per week. Fast delivery and flexible hire for as long as you need
Flexible mobility equipment hire is the ideal solution for a wide range of situations. Whether you need equipment for two weeks or several months, it adapts to your needs. With a minimum hire term of two weeks, you get the time you actually need without any pressure to commit to a permanent purchase. Plus, you can extend your hire for as long as your situation requires. From recovering after surgery to supporting a longer-term change in mobility, all kinds of people turn to flexible hire for different reasons. Our Who We Help page covers these situations in more detail and can help you see where you fit in.
When does flexible hire make sense?
Many of our customers come to us during a period of recovery. If you are healing after surgery, it is common to need mobility support for anywhere between four and eight weeks. This support helps while your strength and confidence return. Similarly, if you or a loved one is being discharged from hospital and heading home to recover, the right equipment in place can make all the difference. It ensures a safe and comfortable transition. Hiring for a few weeks means you have everything you need. In addition, you will not have to commit to equipment you may not require long term.
Flexible hire also works brilliantly for family situations. Whether a relative is coming to stay for a couple of weeks or a month and needs extra support to get around, or you are temporarily helping with the care of a family member while they recover, we can have the right equipment with you quickly and for as long as you need it.
For those planning a longer UK holiday of two weeks or more, hiring mobility equipment means you can enjoy your trip fully. You avoid the hassle of transporting your own. And if you are considering buying equipment but want to make sure it suits you first, a hire period is a great way to try before you commit.

Real people, real reasons to hire
Hire for recovery and care
Tom, 67 – hip replacement recovery
Tom was discharged from hospital after a hip replacement and needed a wheelchair to get around safely at home while he recovered. His surgeon advised six weeks of limited walking, so Tom hired with us for that period. Having the right equipment from day one meant he could move around independently without putting strain on his recovery. As a result, he simply returned the scooter once he was back on his feet.
Sandra, 58 – caring for her mum
Sandra’s mum came to stay for six weeks following a fall, and Sandra wanted to make sure she could move around the house and garden safely and with confidence. Rather than rushing into a purchase that might not be needed long term, Sandra hired a rollator walker for the duration of her mum’s stay. It arrived the next day and made a real difference to how settled her mum felt.
Michael, 81 – home recovery after a hospital stay
Michael’s family arranged his hire before he was even discharged, so the equipment was ready and waiting when he arrived home. His recovery took around five weeks and having a homecare hospital bed and a raised toilet seat in place from the start meant the transition from hospital to home was smooth and stress-free for the whole family.
Hire for holidays and peace of mind
David, 72 – three-week holiday in Cornwall
David loves his annual trip to Cornwall but had been putting it off since his mobility became more limited. Hiring a scooter for his three-week stay meant he could explore the coastal paths and town centres without exhausting himself, and he didn’t have to worry about transporting anything from home.
Priya, 45 – trying before buying
Priya had been considering buying a powerchair for a while but wasn’t sure which model would suit her day-to-day needs. She hired one for a month to get a proper feel for it before committing to a purchase. It gave her the confidence to choose the right equipment without any guesswork.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is the minimum hire term two weeks?
Our minimum hire term of two weeks is designed to make sure you get genuinely useful support rather than equipment that barely has time to settle in before it needs to go back. Most of the situations people hire for, whether that is post-surgery recovery, hospital discharge, a family visit, or a longer holiday, naturally call for at least a couple of weeks. A two-week minimum also means the hire is cost-effective for you, with our weekly rates kept as affordable as possible. If you would like to talk through your hire options before you book, give us a call on 0800 111 6234 and we will be happy to help.
Can I extend my hire if I need it for longer?
Absolutely. We understand that recovery does not always follow a fixed schedule and circumstances can change. If you need to keep your equipment for longer than originally planned, simply get in touch with our team and we will arrange an extension for you. To arrange an extension, just call us on 0800 111 6234 and our team will sort everything out for you.
Can I return it early if I do not need it for the full two weeks?
You are welcome to return the equipment before the end of your two-week hire period if you no longer need it. Please note that the full two-week hire charge still applies regardless of when the equipment comes back, as our pricing is based on the minimum hire term. If you are ready to return your equipment, call us on 0800 111 6234 and we will organise collection at a time that suits you.
What is included in the price?
When you book, you pay upfront for your initial two-week hire, plus delivery and collection. That way, you cover everything from the start with no surprise costs later. We safety check and clean all our equipment before despatch, so it arrives ready to use. If you have any questions about hire costs, our team will talk you through everything before you book. For a full breakdown of costs before you commit, call our team on 0800 111 6234 and we will walk you through everything.
How quickly can you deliver?
In many cases, we deliver on the next working day. If you need equipment quickly, we do our best to get it to you as fast as possible. Delivery times can vary depending on when you place your order, so if speed matters, call us and we will confirm exactly when we can deliver.
