What is a Walking Aid?

A walking aid is a piece of mobility equipment which allows the user to lean on it when walking, thus providing more stability.  We currently provide three of these.

The Walker Wheelchair provides the user with both support and stability whilst pushing it as well as a seat to sit on if the user becomes tired or unable to walk.  It also comes with a front bag for shopping. The Handicare Rollator Gemino 30 is a fully transportable rollator with a comfortable mesh seat. Our Lightweight Rollator with Forearm supports provides both a seat and comfortable support for the forearms when pushing or leaning on this rollator.

A walker wheelchair combination is a fantastic mobility aid for those who may struggle to walk unaided. You can hire a walker wheelchair in one from us on a short or long-term basis, allowing you ultimate flexibility with your rental. We also have rollator walkers with seats and baskets – perfect for taking shopping or other items with you when you’re moving around.
