Whether that be from a bed, chair or even the floor this rental hoist offers a range of high-end features to enhance the patient and carer experience.
We have a huge range of manual handling hoists which can be hired on long or short term hire as well as purchased. Offering you real flexibility over how long you keep your new hoist for.
Compact, Tool-Free Folding, Lightweight Hoist for Easy Transport and Storage
The Invacare disability hoist is designed with a compact footprint, ensuring smooth manoeuvrability in tight spaces. Its tool-free folding mechanism allows quick setup and takedown, making it hassle-free to fold and unfold. Weighing just 31kg, this lightweight hoist is easy to push, transport, and store, making it a practical solution for use in various environments.
Compact Patient Hoist: Designed for Maximum Manoeuvrability and Exceptional Lifting Range
The compact patient lifting hoist is engineered for smooth, easy handling with an impressive ergonomic lift, enabling 360° patient rotation. With a lifting range of 530-1590mm, this hoist simplifies positioning and manoeuvring, reducing strain on caregivers and easing any anxiety for patients. The high, curved lifting arm provides ample space for the patient, even at the hoist’s highest position, while the design in front of the actuator minimises the risk of leg and knee injuries. This unique hoist design also promotes eye contact between the caregiver and patient, ensuring a more comfortable and reassuring transfer experience.
Ergonomically Designed for Carers’ Ease
Easily attach slings one-handed with the intuitive hook design. The ergonomic shape lets you attach the sling from above or below, while the flexible, outward-pointing lip ensures effortless detachment. The push bar, crafted for optimal ergonomics, makes handling and maneuvering simple. Its deeper handles allow for comfortable arm extension during transport—every feature thoughtfully designed to support carers in their daily tasks.

NB: We do not provide training on the use of a patient hoist, nor the application of a sling. A user manual is provided with the hoist but it is anticipated that you will already know how to operate a patient hoist. If you have not used a hoist before, or have any concerns regards hiring this equipment you should speak to your healthcare team first.
