Ultra Low FloorBed with Junior Kit for safe, low-level sleeping for children & small adults The Ultra Low FloorBed plus the Junior Kit converts an adult Accora bed into a low, protected sleep surface. It reduces fall risk, lowers entrapment hazards, and keeps caregiving easier.
	Who it’s for This bundle is for children and smaller adults who need a low bed with extra protection. For example: People up to 155 cm (≈5’1″) and 70 kg. Also suitable for adults under 146 cm and 40 kg, or with a BMI under 17. Use it when close-to-floor positioning, fall prevention, and entrapment reduction are important.
Key clinical benefits With the Junior Kit fitted, the FloorBed 2 meets the children’s bed standard BS EN 50637:2017. That means one hire gives fall prevention, entrapment protection and full profiling for safe care.
	Comes with a Standard Pressure Care Foam Mattress This mattress is made for people who spend long periods in bed and are at risk of pressure sores. It has a firm base and soft foam that spreads pressure away from bony or sore areas. This helps to keep the user more comfortable for longer. The waterproof, two way stretch breathable cover cuts down on rubbing and lets moisture escape. This helps keep skin healthy and supports infection control. It wipes clean easily for simple daily care.
What’s included in the Junior Kit Padded head and footboard bumpers to reduce impact and lower injury risk. Integrated junior padded side rail with mattress infill to close gaps and gives a cushioned barrier; it lowers quickly and locks below the mattress for safe transfers. Safety mesh panels are fitted where needed to meet BS EN 50637:2017. Safety sleeve to cover the platform mechanism to reduce entrapment risk. Built-in lockable handset pocket to keep the handset stored and prevent tampering. Protection plates for the FloorBed 2 with extra guarding included. Easy-fit fixings that are quick and straightforward to install. Together these accessories turn an adult medical bed into a safer sleeping space for younger people and small adults.
	FloorBed 2 – performance & practical features Very low to ergonomic heights: lowers to 71 mm (7.1 cm) to reduce fall risk, and raises to 800 mm (80 cm) for comfortable caregiving. Low head and footboards for better access during care and repositioning. Full profiling: backrest with auto-regression, kneebreak, and Trend/Anti-Trendelenburg ±15° to support positioning and pressure relief. Safe controls: handset works from either side, includes a lockout to stop accidental use, and the bed has an auto-safety stop for controlled lowering.

We are very happy to provide you with product information and specifications over the telephone or via email but unfortunately, we are unable to make any product recommendations for you. This is because we do not know your individual circumstances or your health requirements.

When placing an order, this confirms that you have read and accept these delivery terms and conditions. Please note that at the end of the short term hire, the hire will only conclude 2 working days following notice, allowing us time to collect.

PLEASE NOTE YOU MUST KEEP THE EQUIPMENT CLEAN OR COSTS FOR CLEANING WILL BE CHARGED

Do I need to pay a deposit? Look at our fully comprehensive insurance or deposit policy

NB. It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that the hired product will fit through all access doorways and entrance points, to be able to complete a successful delivery or collection. Any re-delivery or re-collection attempts that need to be made in the case where a hired product does not fit through doorways or access points will be chargable to the hirer. Product dimensions and specifications are provided on the website, if you require any additional measurements to ensure successful delivery or collection it is the responsibility of the hirer to contact Mobility Hire and get these measurements.

If a valid VAT Disclaimer is not submitted within 7 days after commencement of the booking, then the VAT will be collected. If a valid VAT Disclaimer is then submitted and a VAT refund authorised, then a £5.00 administration charge will be made to cover time and costs for refunding the VAT

Please note that on the long term rental pricing the first payment is always plus delivery and collection (Please see button ‘Delivery Costs’ above to work out this cost or call the office for a quote).

NEW PRODUCT – A NEW product is just that, brand new and you will be the first user.

FLEET PRODUCT – Carefully prepared this product will have been used, but as we have to service, insure, and repair, then you can benefit from a lesser hire cost. Go for fleet and if you are not happy with the product when it arrives, you can change your rental to a NEW one

TRAVELLING ABROAD: Please note if you are taking any of our hire equipment outside of the country, please be aware that while we are here and very happy to provide you with full telephone or email support, we are unable to provide engineer visits or provision of parts until you are back in the UK.

Engineered Delivery

When you rent from us, we take payment on a weekly or monthly basis depending on how long you require the equipment for. Payments will be taken from the debit or credit card you used at the point of booking until you arrange collection. If you would like to change the card at any time please give the team a call on 0800 111 6234. Our delivery procedure is detailed below.

Our Delivery Procedure

Each of our hire products come with a choice of delivery and collection options to suit you. We provide same day delivery, next day delivery and even weekend deliveries. The office will ring you the working day before to confirm your estimated delivery time.

Your item or items will arrive with one of our trained delivery drivers who will set up your equipment for you and show you how it works.
You can then use your equipment for as long as you require.
Once the time comes for you to return the rental equipment to us give us a call to book this in.
One of our drivers will arrive on the pre-arranged day to collect the equipment from you and return it back to us.

Ending Your Rental

You can end your rental at any time by contacting a member of our team by telephone on 0800 111 6234 or filling in our contact us form. The hire will conclude 2 working days following notice to allow time for collection. Our office will ring you to confirm the collection time the working day before collection.

If you would like the rental equipment collected from a different address to the delivery address this is not a problem. You can select your different collection address when booking online or you can give our team a call who will be happy to take the different collection address from you.

Collecting In-Store

If you decide to collect your equipment from our store, you will need to phone the office to book a collection slot which is quick, easy and convenient for you.
Please note: if you decide to collect from our showroom, you will need to bring two forms of I.D from the following list:
