The platform connects members with leading brands, local businesses and welcoming venues, making it easier to save money while discovering organisations that genuinely support inclusion. Built on the belief that accessibility should be simple, practical and part of everyday life, Blue Badgers is available online and through a mobile app. It also features a community-led accessibility map highlighting accessible venues, partner businesses and local events. Carers are recognised as members in their own right, with equal access to all benefits.

SMA UK
Supporting, Informing, Advocating. They are committed to supporting everyone affected by SMA so that they have access to the best care, support and treatment and there will be no barriers preventing full inclusion in society. SMA UK produces reliable, timely information on SMA for the SMA Community as well as health care professionals, education providers and the general public. They provide personalised practical and emotional support services for all those affected by SMA. They advocate on behalf of the SMA Community to authorities that regulate access to drug treatments, care and services and campaigning on issues that matter to people affected by SMA. They fund and support research into the clinical development of drug treatments that understand the complexities of SMA and the underlying disease mechanisms and improvements in the clinical care and management of people affected by SMA. Through our ongoing partnership with SMA UK, their fundraising enabled the purchase of an X8 Extreme mobility scooter, which they lend to community members free of charge. We arrange delivery, collection and secure storage when the scooter is not in use, all at no cost to the borrower. This initiative helps improve mobility and independence for SMA UK members and ensures the scooter is available whenever it’s needed.
