It is fully adjustable to suit each person. The powered backrest, height lift and leg and knee lift make it easy to find a comfortable position.

Safety comes first. The bed lowers to 35 cm and rises to 81 cm to help carers work without bending. A lockable handset stops accidental changes. Optional side rails can be raised or lowered when needed. Side rails included.

Pressure Care Foam Mattress

Ideal for users who spend long periods in bed and assessed as medium risk of pressure sores, this mattress combines a supportive base with castellated foam to deliver effective pressure redistribution while still remaining comfortable. The castellated foam profile increases surface contact and helps reduce pressure on vulnerable areas, making it suitable for prolonged use.

The waterproof two way stretch vapour permeable PU cover helps maintain skin integrity by reducing friction and allowing moisture vapour to escape, which supports infection control and makes cleaning easier. Lightweight and durable, the mattress is designed for everyday care.

There is also the option to upgrade to an air mattress or hybrid mattress instead.

Bariatric Alternating Air Mattress (Optional upgrade)

The Apollo Pro Plus Bariatric dynamic mattress gives reliable pressure relief and steady support. It is made for users at very high risk and for people who already have tissue damage. The design helps keep the user comfortable and protected during long periods in bed.

The mattress uses a cell on cell system with a static base. This keeps the surface stable while the cells alternate to reduce pressure. It supports up to 55 stone. There is an auto lockout for safety.

The alternating action lowers interface pressures and helps improve blood flow. Humidity is managed to reduce the chance of skin maceration. The mattress also gives enhanced protection against shear and friction so movement is kinder to fragile skin.

High Back Chair

The Barkby Bariatric Chair with Wings is designed specifically for plus sized users. It is fully adjustable in overall height, depth and back height so the user receives a tailored fit. In addition, the extra thick seat and back enhance comfort for prolonged use. Therefore, this chair supports the user while promoting better posture.

Moreover, the extra wide platform gives more room to sit comfortably. Built in lumbar support offers targeted lower back support and helps improve posture. Wheelchair Shower Chair Commode

The Lopital Tango Bariatric XXL showerchair commode is made for larger users and supports up to 47.4 stone (300 kg).

It has wide, fold-down arms and swing-away leg rests to make transfers easy. One driving wheel and three castors with brakes help you move it and lock it safely in place.

The padded seat and ergonomic backrest keep them comfortable, even for longer use. A cut-out seat and included bedpan make personal care simpler.

Folding armrests and removable footplates make the chair easier to store and transport. For transfers, just wheel it to the person, apply the brakes and lower the arms for a smooth changeover.
