1st payment is due prior to delivery and covers 3 months rental. Ongoing monthly rental payments will then begin 1 month from the date of delivery and then monthly thereafter. If preferable payments can be done 4 weekly rather than calendar monthly.

All long term rental costs are plus delivery & collection.

(Contract is for a minimum of 6 months with 1 months’ notice of cancellation required to end the long term rental).

If you are unsure or unable to provide this information about the delivery location over the telephone then we may need to undertake a site survey at an additional cost.

Please note that this portable shower pod does not come with either a shower stool or a shower chair commode. If this is required you will need to order it separately. 

The Portable Shower Pod is a practical and compact showering solution for a wide range of care needs. It is made from a quality combination of aluminium and plastic. Therefore, it is designed to be strong, easy to use and simple to keep clean.

It is ideal when you need a temporary shower solution without the need for home renovation or major adaptation. The walls are pre-assembled and clip together. As a result, installation is quick and straightforward, helping to reduce disruption and keep setup time to a minimum.

The unit measures 103.5cm long, 98.5cm wide, and 135cm high. These dimensions make it a practical solution for temporary care at home. The shower pod connects to existing water and drainage systems using a flexible hose. When the hire period ends, you can disconnect it quickly and easily.

Our fully trained engineers will install your accessible shower unit to the highest standard. In some cases, they can complete the installation in as little as 60 minutes. Once they fit the pod, the engineer will show you how it works and make sure you feel comfortable using it before they leave.

The portable shower cabin has been created with comfort and safety in mind. It includes a non slip shower tray and a low threshold tray with a 5.5cm entry height. When used with the supplied ramp, there is no entry height at all, making access much easier for wheelchair users.

Engineered / Courier Delivery

When you rent from us, we take payment on a weekly or monthly basis depending on how long you require the equipment for.  Payments will be taken from the debit or credit card you used at the point of booking until you arrange collection. If you would like to change the card at any time please give the team a call on 0800 111 6234.  Our delivery procedure is detailed below.

Our Engineered Delivery Procedure

Each of our hire products come with a choice of delivery and collection options to suit you.  We provide same day delivery, next day delivery and even weekend deliveries.  The office will ring you the working day before to confirm your estimated delivery time.

  • Your item or items will arrive with one of our trained delivery drivers who will set up your equipment for you and show you how it works.
  • You can then use your equipment for as long as you require.
  • Once the time comes for you to return the rental equipment to us give us a call to book this in.
  • One of our drivers will arrive on the pre-arranged day to collect the equipment from you and return it back to us.

Our Courier Delivery Procedure

Each of our hire products come with a choice of delivery and collection options to suit you.  We provide same day delivery, next day delivery and even weekend deliveries.

Courier items ordered before 3pm will be available for next working day delivery.  Your item(s) will arrive in a custom-made box, which must be kept in order for the equipment to be returned to us.

With an independent courier service Horizon Mobility Ltd [HML] cannot be held responsible for timing on this delivery. HML will make every effort to ensure that the courier resolves their problem as soon as is possible to ensure they complete the service in a full and timely fashion.

What to Do When Your Courier Delivery Arrives

After your delivery has been made you will simply need to:

  • Remove the packaging (remember to keep this)
  • Remove your equipment from its box
  • Put your mobility equipment together, if needed, using the instructions provided
  • Your equipment is now ready to use
  • If anything is unclear, please give one of our team a call on 0800 111 6234 and they will be happy to walk you through the process

You can then use your equipment for as long as you require.

Once the time comes for you to return the rental equipment to us:

  • Dismantle the equipment
  • Place it back in its packaging
  • Call our office and we can book in a day for the courier to collect from you
  • A driver will arrive to collect the equipment from you and return it to us

Ending Your Rental

You can end your rental at any time by contacting a member of our team by telephone on 0800 111 6234 or filling in our contact us form.  The hire will conclude 2 working days following notice to allow time for collection.  Our office will ring you to confirm the collection time the working day before collection.

If you would like the rental equipment collected from a different address to the delivery address this is not a problem. You can select your different collection address when booking online or you can give our team a call who will be happy to take the different collection address from you.

Collecting In-Store

If you decide to collect your equipment from our store, you will need to phone the office to book a collection slot which is quick, easy and convenient for you.
Please note:  if you decide to collect from our showroom, you will need to bring two forms of I.D from the following list:

Passport

Driving Licence

A letter from the Department of Work and Pensions  

Utility Bills

Bank Statements

Hire this product from us for as long as you require giving you the peace of mind that you are choosing the right product and be sure it will fulfil your needs. If once you have tried it and are confident you would like to buy one then we will allow you up to 2 weeks rental refunded back to you once your purchase is completed.

If you would like to purchase the item that you have on hire you may also be able to benefit from an additional fleet discount of up to 20%.

Important Information

We are very happy to provide you with product information and specifications over the telephone or via email but unfortunately, we are unable to make any product recommendations for you. This is because we do not know your individual circumstances or your health requirements.

When placing an order, this confirms that you have read and accept these delivery terms and conditions. Please note that at the end of the short term hire, the hire will only conclude 2 working days following notice, allowing us time to collect.

PLEASE NOTE YOU MUST KEEP THE EQUIPMENT CLEAN OR COSTS FOR CLEANING WILL BE CHARGED

NB. It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that the hired product will fit through all access doorways and entrance points, to be able to complete a successful delivery or collection. Any re-delivery or re-collection attempts that need to be made in the case where a hired product does not fit through doorways or access points will be chargable to the hirer. Product dimensions and specifications are provided on the website, if you require any additional measurements to ensure successful delivery or collection it is the responsibility of the hirer to contact Mobility Hire and get these measurements.


If a valid VAT Disclaimer is not submitted within 7 days after commencement of the booking, then the VAT will be collected. If a valid VAT Disclaimer is then submitted and a VAT refund authorised, then a £5.00 administration charge will be made to cover time and costs for refunding the VAT


Please note that on the long term rental pricing the first payment is always plus delivery and collection (Please see button ‘Delivery Costs’ above to work out this cost or call the office for a quote).

NEW PRODUCT – A NEW product is just that, brand new and you will be the first user.

FLEET PRODUCT – Carefully prepared this product will have been used, but as we have to service, insure, and repair, then you can benefit from a lesser hire cost. Go for fleet and if you are not happy with the product when it arrives, you can change your rental to a NEW one.


TRAVELLING ABROAD: Please note if you are taking any of our hire equipment outside of the country, please be aware that while we are here and very happy to provide you with full telephone or email support, we are unable to provide engineer visits or provision of parts until you are back in the UK.
