The Pride Sparky Paediatric Powerchair has been engineered to operate in child-size spaces that might be tight. A turning circle of 74.3cm and maximum speed of 4mph and an intelligent braking system makes this electric wheelchair perfect for children. Power tilt comes as standard with this hire chair, so your child can feel relief from pressure and maintain good circulation. Ideal in the playground, in the classroom or at home
The Sparky’s 12” pneumatic drive wheels and pneumatic front castors make it an excellent choice for outdoor use as well as indoor. The powered wheelchair also benefits from rear anti-tip wheels and rear suspension. Swing away footrests come as-standard whilst a manual recline will make sure your child is always as comfortable as possible.

The Pride Sparky powerchair has a weight capacity of 8 stone 13lbs (56.7kg). Optional attendant controls mean an attendant can control the chair if the child is unable to do so. Alternatively, the child can control the chair thanks to the joystick attached to the armrest. A petite overall length of 95.9 cm combined with a turning radius of 74.3 cm means this powerchair is small enough to get into tight, child-sized spaces and still get out again. That means it’s great for children to use when playing at home, in the playground or at school.

Engineered Delivery
When you rent from us, we take payment on a weekly or monthly basis depending on how long you require the equipment for. Payments will be taken from the debit or credit card you used at the point of booking until you arrange collection. If you would like to change the card at any time please give the team a call on 0800 111 6234. Our delivery procedure is detailed below.
Our Engineered Delivery Procedure
Each of our hire products come with a choice of delivery and collection options to suit you. We provide same day delivery, next day delivery and even weekend deliveries. The office will ring you the working day before to confirm your estimated delivery time.
- Your item or items will arrive with one of our trained delivery drivers who will set up your equipment for you and show you how it works.
- You can then use your equipment for as long as you require.
- Once the time comes for you to return the rental equipment to us give us a call to book this in.
- One of our drivers will arrive on the pre-arranged day to collect the equipment from you and return it back to us.
Ending Your Rental
You can end your rental at any time by contacting a member of our team by telephone on 0800 111 6234 or filling in our contact us form. The hire will conclude 2 working days following notice to allow time for collection. Our office will ring you to confirm the collection time the working day before collection.
If you would like the rental equipment collected from a different address to the delivery address this is not a problem. You can select your different collection address when booking online or you can give our team a call who will be happy to take the different collection address from you.
Collecting In-Store
If you decide to collect your equipment from our store, you will need to phone the office to book a collection slot which is quick, easy and convenient for you.
Please note: if you decide to collect from our showroom, you will need to bring two forms of I.D from the following list:

Driving Licence
A letter from the Department of Work and Pensions
Utility Bills
Bank Statements
