What is a care chair?
A care chair is a specialised piece of furniture designed to provide you with comfort, support and assistance for when you may have difficulties sitting for any length of time. These care chairs have different adjustable functions such as tilt in space, back recline, adjustable seat width and height or adjustable leg rests. These offer you different seating positions and help for when you need pressure redistribution to treat and stop pressure sores.
A level 3 care chair will have one or two of its functions which are not adjustable. Where as a level 4 care chair is the most adjustable chair you can hire or buy, with all the main functions of seat width, tilt in space, back angle recline, leg rests and arm height are all adjustable within the chair. Meaning one chair can be used to accommodate a number of different needs and requirements for you.
Our level 4 care chair also offers you powered functions such as powered tilt, powered recline, powered legs and battery backup for when moving around in the chair.
The level 3 care chair also boasts tilt in space, recline and elevating legs functions but these are operated manually using levers.
