SafeSleep Foam Mattress

SafeSleep is a four layer foam mattress custom made for the RotoBed Opera and supplied as standard with the bed when hired. It measures 3 ft wide and is rated 2 out of 5 on the soft to medium scale, so it balances comfort with support. As a result, it sits comfortably under most users while still working with the bed’s rotating function.

In addition, SafeSleep is designed to reduce pressure and shear and supports prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers in stages one to three. The top layer is a high elastic comfort polyether called Olmosoff which promotes high airflow to reduce heat and moisture at the contact surface. The three underlying foam layers increase flexibility and airflow while the mattress is manufactured without CFC and carries OEKO TEX 100 certification.

Finally, the mattress includes a matching foot section and an anchor system to hold it during rotation, and it comes with a wipe clean cover plus an elastic incontinence foil that are machine washable at 60°C. Recommended user weight is 40 to 120 kg.

Roho Dry Floatation Overlay

The Roho Dry Floatation overlay is offered as an optional accessory for the RotoBed Free rotating chair bed, bringing clinical-grade pressure redistribution into everyday care. It is non-powered and highly portable, so carers can position it quickly and easily; consequently, it suits users of varying weight and can be added to the RotoBed® Free or a standard mattress with minimal disruption.

This air mattress overlay is engineered to support healing for pressure ulcers up to advanced stages, and likewise to serve as a preventative therapy for high-risk users.

Designed with four independently adjustable yet interconnected zones, the overlay allows carers to tailor immersion for the heels, buttocks, head and torso for targeted support. Furthermore, because the cells react and move with the user, shear and friction are reduced and circulation is improved, which supports wound healing and prevents further skin breakdown.

Consequently, the reactive non-powered design allows simple immersion adjustment and dependable support using only a hand pump, making this accessory a practical, effective option for both short-term recovery and ongoing pressure-relief care.

Height Adjustability & Profiling Action; RotoBed Free Rotating Chair Bed

Height adjustment offers many benefits, making nursing and care routines safer and easier. You can raise the bed to support standing up from the exit chair position. This bed adjusts from 32 to 82 cm.
