Quattro Plus 1in4 Dynamic Air Mattress Hire
The Quattro Plus 1in4 dynamic air mattress provides effective pressure care and protection for all patient types. The Quattro Plus alternating mattress system combines an active 1-in-4 cell cycle, TISSUEgard, Ortho-Differential Support and a multistretch cover. Giving you pressure relief to prevent pressure ulcers and to manage any existing pressure ulcers.
Active 1-in-4 cell cycle
The active 1 in 4 cell cycle supports 75% of your body at all times. Groups of 3 cells remain inflated while the fourth cell deflates sufficiently to redistribute pressure and to encourage blood flow back to the tissue. An added benefit of the 1-in-4 cycle is increased comfort and less awareness of the mattress surface moving.
Reduces and Manages Pressure Risk / Care
TISSUEgard enables partial immersion and envelopment into the mattress surface. This reduces the pressure on your skin and decreases the pressure differential between the inflated and deflated cells. Helping to reduce any associated shear forces.
Easier Transfers & Extra Support
Ortho-Differential Support provides the mattress with firmer outer edges, this makes for easier transfers and provides extra support, whilst creating a softer central area of the mattress. This is an especially great feature for smaller, lighter weight people.
Quattro Plus 1in4 Dynamic Air Mattress; Infection Control
The multi-stretch cover is waterproof, moisture-vapour permeable and it has welded seems to protect the inside of the mattress from fluid ingress. It also promotes tissue offloading during cell deflation and reduces shear and friction when moving or repositioning. Combined with a low air loss feature in the mattress this helps to manage the skin microclimate at the skin-surface interface.
