It is important to note that with this type of delivery it is a “kerbside” delivery which means that the driver will unload your item(s) from the van but will not take the item into the property or set up the item. Some of the items can be very heavy and you may need to arrange assistance with moving and setting up the equipment once it has been delivered.

Our standard delivery service only applies to England and Wales. Areas outside of this may be available but would need to be discussed with our customer service team on 0800 111 6234 who will be able to provide a quote for this service.

Engineered Delivery – An engineered delivery includes a fully trained delivery driver delivering your products and will set up/assemble your product along with demonstrating how to use it correctly. Finally, any packaging is taken away so you don’t have to worry about disposal or recycling.

Our engineered delivery service only applies to England and Wales. Areas outside of this maybe available but would need to be discussed with our customer service team on 0800 111 6234 who will be able to provide a quote for this service.

Standard Delivery – Is free on all purchases above £40

Engineered Delivery – This cost is calculated based on the first part of the delivery postcode. These are charged at a different rate to the standard delivery days.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Triride T-Rocks legal to use on the road in the UK?

Power add-ons like the Triride T-Rocks are not classified as road-legal invalid carriages in the UK, so they are generally treated the same as a Class 2 mobility scooter, meaning use on pavements, footpaths and pedestrian areas at speeds up to 4mph, rather than on the road itself except to cross it or where a footpath is not accessible. This area of regulation is currently under review, with a Department for Transport consultation looking at how powered wheelchair attachments should be classified going forward. Because rules can change and enforcement varies, it is worth checking the latest Department for Transport guidance before regularly using the T-Rocks in public spaces.

What is the battery range of the Triride T-Rocks, and how far can I travel on one charge?

The Triride T-Rocks has a maximum range of 49.9 kilometres, or around 31 miles, on a full charge from its single 48V lithium ion battery. Top speed is 29.9 kph, or roughly 18.5 mph, with five selectable power levels so riders can trade range for speed depending on the terrain. Reverse, cruise control and electronic regenerative braking are all built in, helping to make the most of the battery over longer routes.

Can the Triride T-Rocks be fitted to any manual wheelchair, or does it need a specific type?

The Triride T-Rocks attaches to the front of a manual all-terrain wheelchair using simple mounting brackets, fitting both rigid frame wheelchairs in 16 and 18 inch seat widths and folding frame wheelchairs in 16, 18 and 20 inch seat widths. Maximum user weight also depends on the wheelchair paired with it, ranging from around 17st 6lbs or 112 kilograms for a 40 or 45cm seat width folding wheelchair up to 21st 10lbs or 134.6 kilograms for a 50cm seat width.

Do I need insurance to use a powered wheelchair attachment like the T-Rocks?

Insurance is not a legal requirement for using a powered wheelchair attachment such as the Triride T-Rocks in the UK, but specialist providers commonly recommend third party cover in case of an accident involving another person or their property. This differs from a car or a Class 3 mobility scooter, where insurance requirements are more clearly defined in law. Anyone planning to use the T-Rocks regularly in public spaces may want to check with a mobility-specific insurer about the cover available for power attachments specifically, rather than assuming a standard home or motor policy applies.
