Permobil Explorer Mini: A unique paediatric mobility solution
The Permobil Explorer Mini offers a unique powered mobility solution for children from the age of 12 months up to around 3 years. This fantastic product is designed to maximise early learning and aids in reaching those developmental milestones, by allowing children with mobility impairments to have self-initiated movement.
Explore and interact independently
Early years development is about exploring and understand the world around you. Working out how things work by touching and interacting with them. The Explorer Mini provides a safe and secure platform to give young children the opportunity to explorer and interact with their surroundings independently. The intuitive and friendly design provides children with just the right amount of support to enable them to develop their strength, endurance and postural control.
Permobil Explorer Mini grows with the child
With its ergonomic design the Explorer Mini has multiple weight bearing surfaces to help encourage safe and stable upright postures. The contoured saddle seat is height adjustable and removeable so it grows as the child grows and develops. Its midline joystick promotes use of the bilateral upper extremities and provides multiple sensory input experiences. This paediatric powered mobility solution features a compact front wheel drive base making it easily manoeuvrable in small child-sized spaces.
Lightweight & transportable
The Explorer Mini is also lightweight at only 23kg and easily transported which means families can take it with them wherever they go. Allowing children, the opportunity to explore and learn in a variety of environments.

For fleet purchase products we offer a three-month warranty. Powered products come with new batteries.
For new purchase products we offer one years’ warranty.
Engineered Delivery
When you rent from us, we take payment on a weekly or monthly basis depending on how long you require the equipment for. Payments will be taken from the debit or credit card you used at the point of booking until you arrange collection. If you would like to change the card at any time please give the team a call on 0800 111 6234. Our delivery procedure is detailed below.
Our Engineered Delivery Procedure
Each of our hire products come with a choice of delivery and collection options to suit you. We provide same day delivery, next day delivery and even weekend deliveries. The office will ring you the working day before to confirm your estimated delivery time.
- Your item or items will arrive with one of our trained delivery drivers who will set up your equipment for you and show you how it works.
- You can then use your equipment for as long as you require.
- Once the time comes for you to return the rental equipment to us give us a call to book this in.
- One of our drivers will arrive on the pre-arranged day to collect the equipment from you and return it back to us.
Ending Your Rental
You can end your rental at any time by contacting a member of our team by telephone on 0800 111 6234 or filling in our contact us form. The hire will conclude 2 working days following notice to allow time for collection. Our office will ring you to confirm the collection time the working day before collection.
If you would like the rental equipment collected from a different address to the delivery address this is not a problem. You can select your different collection address when booking online or you can give our team a call who will be happy to take the different collection address from you.
Collecting In-Store
If you decide to collect your equipment from our store, you will need to phone the office to book a collection slot which is quick, easy and convenient for you.
Please note: if you decide to collect from our showroom, you will need to bring two forms of I.D from the following list:

Driving Licence
A letter from the Department of Work and Pensions
Utility Bills
Bank Statements
