Invacare ISA Standing Assist Aid; A Standing Assist Lifter for active transfers from sitting to standing

The Invacare ISA stand assist is a standing aid designed to offer support for those who want to participate in active transfers from sitting to standing. This lifter offers patients a transfer option for those wanting to keep their independence. It is suitable for users who have some weight bearing ability but are unable to raise themselves into a standing position unaided.

A flexible standing aid to suit a wide range of body shapes and sizes

With a focus on flexible adjustment, this Invacare ISA stand assist achieves a natural pattern of movement for the patient and carer. These flexible adjustments mean this rental standing aid adapts to the needs of a wider range of body shapes and sizes. Most importantly, this happens without compromising the ergonomic function of the lift.

This makes the Invacare ISA standing aid a practical choice for community and residential care environments. It is suitable for other situations where the lifter may be used for more than one individual. The Invacare stand assist features a maximum user weight of up to 160kg (25.1 stone).

User friendly stand aid for family members and carers

Ease of use is incredibly important for family members and carers using the lifter. Therefore, particular emphasis has been put on the intuitive design of this standing aid. The new ISA has a compact, curved base with ergonomic curved leg shapes to allow for easy manoeuvring around chairs and toilet bases.

The push bar shape and dimensions have been based on average elbow height and shoulder width to ensure smooth and easy movement. Another feature of this standing aid is that it can be dismantled without any need for tools. This allows for transportation when needed.

Intuitive design & features to offer the best lifting experience 

This Invacare standing aid has lots of great design features for those being transferred. The ergonomic hand grips are a unique shaped design with curved angle, to fit perfectly with the natural shape of your hands, making sure you have a secure comfortable feeling during transfers.

The extendable lifting arm has nine different length settings to allow for various body shapes and heights. This offers optimised sling use and maximises ergonomics for an active transfer. The lower leg support has six different height settings. Plus, the swivel ErgoSupport pad allows it to fit comfortably to lots of different leg lengths and offers protection to the vulnerable knee and calf area.

Engineered Delivery

When you rent from us, we take payment on a weekly or monthly basis depending on how long you require the equipment for.  Payments will be taken from the debit or credit card you used at the point of booking until you arrange collection. If you would like to change the card at any time please give the team a call on 0800 111 6234.  Our delivery procedure is detailed below.

Our Delivery Procedure

Each of our hire products come with a choice of delivery and collection options to suit you.  We provide same day delivery, next day delivery and even weekend deliveries.  The office will ring you the working day before to confirm your estimated delivery time.

  • Your item or items will arrive with one of our trained delivery drivers who will set up your equipment for you and show you how it works.
  • You can then use your equipment for as long as you require.
  • Once the time comes for you to return the rental equipment to us give us a call to book this in.
  • One of our drivers will arrive on the pre-arranged day to collect the equipment from you and return it back to us.

Ending Your Rental

You can end your rental at any time by contacting a member of our team by telephone on 0800 111 6234 or filling in our contact us form.  The hire will conclude 2 working days following notice to allow time for collection.  Our office will ring you to confirm the collection time the working day before collection.

If you would like the rental equipment collected from a different address to the delivery address this is not a problem. You can select your different collection address when booking online or you can give our team a call who will be happy to take the different collection address from you.

Collecting In-Store

If you decide to collect your equipment from our store, you will need to phone the office to book a collection slot which is quick, easy and convenient for you.
Please note:  if you decide to collect from our showroom, you will need to bring two forms of I.D from the following list:

Driving Licence

A letter from the Department of Work and Pensions  

Utility Bills

Bank Statements

Fleet Delivery

Standard Delivery – Our standard delivery option is free on all purchase orders over £40, your item(s) will arrive with one of our delivery drivers normally between the hours of 8am-6pm on working weekdays, approximately 5-7days after you have placed your order. The office will contact you the day before delivery by telephone to confirm your delivery slot.

Our standard delivery is a “pavement” delivery, this means the delivery driver will unload it from the van for you but will not take the item in to your property or set up the item. Please be aware that some of these items are heavy and you may need to arrange assistance to move or set up the equipment once delivered to you.

Standard delivery covers England and Wales only, other delivery areas may be available but these will need to be quoted on an individual basis. Please call our dedicated team on 0800 111 6234 to discuss other delivery areas.

Engineered Delivery – An engineered delivery covers for a fully-trained delivery driver to come along to your chosen delivery address and they will assemble/install your product plus demonstrate how to use it correctly. The cost for this service is calculated using the first part of the postcode for the delivery address. If you add your chosen product to your shopping cart and at the beginning of the checkout process you will be able to calculate this cost and see the delivery options available to you. You will have a choice of days for when you would like delivery. Depending on your postcode there are set “standard” delivery days, if these are not convenient then you may also have the option to select an “other” day delivery or collection including next day, same day and weekend options. These are charged at a different rate to the standard delivery days.

Engineered delivery is only available in England and Wales, other delivery areas may be available but these will need to be quoted on an individual basis. Please call our dedicated team on 0800 111 6234 to discuss other delivery areas.

New Purchase Delivery Information

Standard Delivery – Our standard delivery option is free on all purchase orders over £40, your item(s) will arrive boxed with a courier anytime between 8am-6pm on working weekdays, approximately 5-7days after you have placed your order. We will contact you the day before to let you know your item(s) is being shipped for delivery the following working day.

Our standard delivery is a “pavement” delivery, this means the delivery driver will unload it from the van for you but will not take the box in to your property or set up the item. Please be aware that some of these items are heavy and you may need to arrange assistance to move or unpack the box once delivered to you.

Standard delivery is available for UK Mainland, other delivery areas may be available but these will need to be quoted for on an individual basis. Please call out dedicated team on 0800 111 6234 to discuss other delivery areas.

Engineered Delivery – An engineered delivery covers for a fully-trained delivery driver to come along to your chosen deliver address and they will assemble/install your product plus demonstrate how to use it correctly. They will also remove any unnecessary packaging for disposal or recycling.

The cost for this service is calculated using the first part of the postcode for the delivery address. If you add your chosen product to your shopping cart and at the beginning of the checkout process you will be able to calculate this cost and see the delivery options available to you. You will have a choice of days for when you would like delivery. Depending on your postcode there are set “standard” delivery days, if these are not convenient then you may also have the option to select an “other” day delivery or collection including next day, same day and weekend options. These are charged at a different rate to the standard delivery days.
