Assistive Riser Porter Chair; Compatible With Manual Handling Equipment

The Assistive Riser Porter Chair is a mobile rise and recliner chair with the added feature of a narrower base. This narrower base allows for easier access when using alongside patient hoists or a Sara Stedy / Able Assist.

The narrower base of this rental Porter Chair allows for the legs of your moving and handling equipment to go either side of the chair. This makes for a safer and more comfortable transfer in or out of the chair.

Rise & Reclining Functions

This rise and recliner porter chair features dual tilt-in-space controls, which give you greater flexibility when adjusting your seating position. As a result, you can sit more comfortably throughout the day while also benefiting from improved support. In addition, the built-in rising function helps you move smoothly and safely into a standing position.

Furthermore, the electric dual tilt-in-space mechanism allows you to change your seating position with minimal effort, making it easier to achieve maximum comfort, support and pressure relief.

At the same time, the chair offers a full recline position for added relaxation, while the high leg lift position helps promote comfort and improved leg support.

Move Between Rooms Sitting In The Chair

This chair is a great option for anyone who wants to be moved between rooms without the need to be transferred out of the chair.  You simply disengage the brakes on the large castor wheels and the chair can then be pushed into another room of your choice, while you remain seated in it. This makes the Assistive Riser Porter chair a suitable product for use in care, hospice and home environments.

High Standards for Residential, Care and Hospital Environments

The fabric on this hire porter chair meets CRIB5 fire-retardant standards, which helps improve safety and peace of mind. In addition, the intelligent vinyl fabric provides multi-directional stretch for greater comfort and flexibility during use. It also offers waterproof, anti-microbial, anti-MRSA and stain-resistant protection, making it much easier to maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene.

Furthermore, the Visco cushioning delivers medium-risk pressure management to support comfort during extended periods of sitting. A Visco elastic heat-sensitive layer works alongside high-density reflex foam to provide reliable support. As your body heat responds with the Visco layer, the cushion moulds around key pressure areas and creates a more stable seating position. As a result, the chair offers improved comfort along with good postural support.

Combining assisted transfer support, mobile positioning and pressure-relieving comfort, the Assistive Riser Porter Chair is designed to make everyday care safer and more comfortable. Purchase today and provide a practical seating solution that supports both users and carers.

It is important to note that with this type of delivery it is a “kerbside” delivery which means that the driver will unload your item(s) from the van but will not take the item into the property or set up the item. Some of the items can be very heavy and you may need to arrange assistance with moving and setting up the equipment once it has been delivered.

Our standard delivery service only applies to England and Wales. Areas outside of this may be available but would need to be discussed with our customer service team on 0800 111 6234 who will be able to provide a quote for this service.

Engineered Delivery – An engineered delivery includes a fully trained delivery driver delivering your products and will set up/assemble your product along with demonstrating how to use it correctly. Finally, any packaging is taken away so you don’t have to worry about disposal or recycling.

Our engineered delivery service only applies to England and Wales. Areas outside of this maybe available but would need to be discussed with our customer service team on 0800 111 6234 who will be able to provide a quote for this service.

Costs

There are two different costs associated with these types of deliveries:

Standard Delivery – Is free on all purchases above £40

Engineered Delivery – This cost is calculated based on the first part of the delivery postcode. By adding your chosen product to the basket at the beginning of the checkout process you will be able to access delivery cost and the delivery options that are available to you. There are set “standard” delivery days depending on your postcode, if these days are not convenient you have the option to select “other” day for delivery this includes same day, next day and weekend options. These are charged at a different rate to the standard delivery days.
