You will be contacted by the office the day before your delivery is due to arrive with confirmation of a time slot.
It is important to note that with this type of delivery it is a “kerbside” delivery which means that the driver will unload your item(s) from the van but will not take the item into the property or set up the item. Some of the items can be very heavy and you may need to arrange assistance with moving and setting up the equipment once it has been delivered.

Engineered Delivery – An engineered delivery includes a fully trained delivery driver delivering your products and will set up/assemble your product along with demonstrating how to use it correctly. Finally, any packaging is taken away so you don’t have to worry about disposal or recycling.
Our engineered delivery service only applies to England and Wales. Areas outside of this maybe available but would need to be discussed with our customer service team on 0800 111 6234 who will be able to provide a quote for this service.

Standard Delivery – Is free on all purchases above £40
Engineered Delivery – This cost is calculated based on the first part of the delivery postcode. By adding your chosen product to the basket at the beginning of the checkout process you will be able to access delivery cost and the delivery options that are available to you. There are set “standard” delivery days depending on your postcode, if these days are not convenient you have the option to select “other” day for delivery this includes same day, next day and weekend options. These are charged at a different rate to the standard delivery days.

Frequently Asked Questions
Should I choose a static Low Air Loss mattress instead of an alternating mattress?
If the user finds the movement of an alternating mattress uncomfortable or disruptive, a static Low Air Loss mattress may be the better choice. The Serene Static Low Air Loss Air Mattress provides continuous pressure redistribution without regular inflation and deflation cycles, making it ideal for users who prefer a stable sleeping surface while still requiring very high levels of pressure care.
Who benefits most from the Serene Static Low Air Loss Air Mattress?
The Serene Static Low Air Loss Air Mattress is particularly suitable for people who are at high or very high risk of developing pressure ulcers and for those requiring long-term bed care. It is also an excellent choice for users who cannot comfortably tolerate the movement of a dynamic alternating mattress but still need advanced pressure relief and moisture management.
Why is continuous low pressure important when choosing a pressure care mattress?
Continuous low pressure helps spread body weight evenly across the mattress surface, reducing pressure on vulnerable areas without creating regular movement. The Serene Static Low Air Loss Air Mattress combines this with immersion and envelopment therapy to provide consistent support while promoting skin integrity and comfort.
What is Seat Inflate Mode and when would I use it?
Seat Inflate Mode increases the mattress pressure when the user is sitting upright in bed. This provides additional support around the pelvis and sacral area, helping reduce the risk of bottoming out while improving stability during meals, reading, visiting or personal care.
How does the Serene Static Low Air Loss Air Mattress help protect skin health?
The Serene combines ventilated Low Air Loss cells with a vapour-permeable, Silver-Ion treated cover to help regulate heat and moisture around the skin. This creates a healthier microclimate, reducing the factors that can contribute to skin breakdown while supporting long-term comfort.
Why is cell-on-cell technology worth considering when buying a pressure mattress?
Cell-on-cell technology provides an additional layer of safety by maintaining support if the pump loses power or the mattress needs to be transported. The Serene Static Low Air Loss Air Mattress can continue supporting the user for up to eight hours, offering reassurance during unexpected power interruptions.
What features should I look for in a premium pressure care mattress cover?
A high-quality mattress cover should support infection prevention, moisture management and user comfort. The Serene features a two-way stretch, vapour-permeable, water-resistant cover with Silver-Ion antimicrobial treatment, welded seams and a full 360-degree zip, helping maintain both hygiene and effective pressure redistribution.
Is a static Low Air Loss mattress suitable for long-term pressure care?
Yes. Static Low Air Loss mattresses are often chosen for users who require prolonged pressure relief without the movement associated with alternating systems. The Serene is designed to provide continuous support, making it well suited to long-term care in both home and professional healthcare environments.
How does the Serene Static Low Air Loss Air Mattress make daily care easier?
The Serene has been designed with intuitive controls, automatic safety alarms and dedicated care modes to simplify everyday use. Features such as Max Firm Mode assist with moving and handling, while clear alerts help carers quickly identify changes in pressure or power.
What makes the Serene Static Low Air Loss Air Mattress different from other static pressure care mattresses?
The Serene combines true Low Air Loss therapy, immersion and envelopment support, advanced moisture management, Seat Inflate Mode and cell-on-cell technology within one system. These features work together to deliver consistent pressure relief, improved skin protection and enhanced comfort for users who require a stable, non-alternating support surface.
