The Pride Apex Lite Boot Scooter: a cost-effective mobility solution
The Pride Apex lite is a lightweight and agile mobility scooter available for hire. Ideal for getting into town or meeting friends, these scooters have a top speed of 4mph (6.4km/h), so you can rest assured you’ll be able to get wherever you need to go quickly. 8” front and rear alloy style wheels provide excellent grip and traction, and with a ground clearance of 3.4cm you shouldn’t have to worry about any bumps on the pavement.
A transportable mobility scooter
The Pride Apex Lite can be disassembled into five easy to manage parts. The heaviest part is 15kg (front section), whilst the total weight without batteries is 36.9kg (5.8 stone). This means the scooter can be easily stored if necessary. It can also fit into the boot of a number of cars for straight forward transportation. Making it an ideal choice to take with you if you go away for a long weekend and still want to have the mobility afforded to you by a scooter like the Pride Apex Lite.
An easy to use control system in a scooter
This mobility aid’s control system is mounted on the front of the tiller. Handle bar controls make this incredibly easy to drive. A dial shows your speed whilst a handy battery indicator means you’ll always know how long you’ve got before your next charge. The scooter is ideal for those trips into town thanks to the roomy backrest pocket – so you’ll have lots of space for newspapers, magazines or anything else you might need to take with you on your trips out.
Optimum storage space
The basket mounted on the front of this scooter is a handy addition – perfect for those trips out to the shops. Fleet Purchase Delivery Information
Standard Delivery – Our standard delivery option is free on all purchase orders over £40, your item(s) will arrive with one of our delivery drivers normally between the hours of 8am-6pm on working weekdays, approximately 5-7days after you have placed your order. The office will contact you the day before delivery by telephone to confirm your delivery slot.
Our standard delivery is a “pavement” delivery, this means the delivery driver will unload it from the van for you but will not take the item in to your property or set up the item. Please be aware that some of these items are heavy and you may need to arrange assistance to move or set up the equipment once delivered to you.
Standard delivery covers England and Wales only, other delivery areas may be available but 111 6234 to discuss other delivery areas.
Engineered Delivery – An engineered delivery covers for a fully-trained delivery driver to come along to your chosen delivery address and they will assemble/install your product plus demonstrate how to use it correctly. The cost for this service is calculated using the first part of the postcode for the delivery address. If you add your chosen product to your shopping cart and at the beginning of the checkout process you will be able to calculate this cost and see the delivery options available to you. You will have a choice of days for when you would like delivery. Depending on your postcode there are set “standard” delivery days, if these are not convenient then you may also have the option to select an “other” day delivery or collection including next day, same day and weekend options. These are charged at a different rate to the standard delivery days.
Engineered delivery is only available in England and Wales, other delivery areas may be available but these will need to be quoted on an individual basis. Please call our dedicated team on 0800 111 6234 to discuss other delivery areas.
New Purchase Delivery Information
Standard Delivery – Our standard delivery option is free on all purchase orders over £40, your item(s) will arrive boxed with a courier anytime between 8am-6pm on working weekdays, approximately 5-7days after you have placed your order. We will contact you the day before to let you know your item(s) is being shipped for delivery the following working day.
Our standard delivery is a “pavement” delivery, this means the delivery driver will unload it from the van for you but will not take the box in to your property or set up the item. Please be aware that some of these items are heavy and you may need to arrange assistance to move or unpack the box once delivered to you.
Standard delivery is available for UK Mainland, other delivery areas may be available but these will need to be quoted for on an individual basis. Please call out dedicated team on 0800 111 6234 to discuss other delivery areas.
Engineered Delivery – An engineered delivery covers for a fully-trained delivery driver to come along to your chosen deliver address and they will assemble/install your product plus demonstrate how to use it correctly. They will also remove any unnecessary packaging for disposal or recycling.
