The Permobil M1 Powered Wheelchair delivers reliable performance both indoors and outdoors. Its mid-wheel drive design gives you a tighter turning circle, making it easier to navigate around the home and through confined spaces. Now available to purchase brand new, the M1 offers a compact turning circle of just 112cm, making it ideal for use at home, in local cafés, and while shopping.

The seat’s tubular frame helps you achieve a comfortable fit by supporting a wide range of adjustments. As a result, you can tailor the chair to suit different seating requirements and accommodate a variety of users.

The Permobil M1: Comfort driving indoors and outdoors

The Permobil M1 powerchair combines smooth suspension with responsive handling to deliver a comfortable ride and excellent driving performance. You can lock the armrests securely in place for support or flip them up to make transfers easier and more comfortable. The swing-away leg rests further improve access and help simplify transfers. In addition, you can retract the joystick when needed, making it easier to pull up to tables and desks.

Suitable for use indoors and outdoors along pavements

With a maximum speed of 8km/h (4.97mph) you’ll be sure to get wherever you’re going quickly. A maximum user weight of 136kg (21.41 stone) allows for this rental powerchair to be used by larger or heavier users as well. As a for-hire powerchair, it’s an outstanding all-rounder, suitable for use both indoors and outdoors as required.

This powerchair has also been crash tested, meaning it’s suitable for occupied transportation. Now available for purchase brand-new!

When placing an order, this confirms that you have read and accept these delivery terms and conditions. Please note that at the end of the short term hire, the hire will only conclude 2 working days following notice, allowing us time to collect.

NB. It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that the hired product will fit through all access doorways and entrance points, to be able to complete a successful delivery or collection. Any re-delivery or re-collection attempts that need to be made in the case where a hired product does not fit through doorways or access points will be chargable to the hirer. Product dimensions and specifications are provided on the website, if you require any additional measurements to ensure successful delivery or collection it is the responsibility of the hirer to contact Mobility Hire and get these measurements.

If a valid VAT Disclaimer is not submitted within 7 days after commencement of the booking, then the VAT will be collected. If a valid VAT Disclaimer is then submitted and a VAT refund authorised, then a £5.00 administration charge will be made to cover time and costs for refunding the VAT

Please note that on the long term rental pricing the first payment is always plus delivery and collection (Please see button ‘Delivery Costs’ above to work out this cost or call the office for a quote).

NEW PRODUCT – A NEW product is just that, brand new and you will be the first user.

FLEET PRODUCT – Carefully prepared this product will have been used, but as we have to service, insure, and repair, then you can benefit from a lesser hire cost. Go for fleet and if you are not happy with the product when it arrives, you can change your rental to a NEW one

TRAVELLING ABROAD: Please note if you are taking any of our hire equipment outside of the country, please be aware that while we are here and very happy to provide you with full telephone or email support, we are unable to provide engineer visits or provision of parts until you are back in the UK.

If once you have tried it and are confident you would like to buy one then we will allow you up to 2 weeks rental refunded back to you once your purchase is completed.

If you would like to purchase the item that you have on hire you may also be able to benefit from an additional fleet discount of up to 20%.

Engineered Delivery

When you rent from us, we take payment on a weekly or monthly basis depending on how long you require the equipment for. Payments will be taken from the debit or credit card you used at the point of booking until you arrange collection. If you would like to change the card at any time please give the team a call on 0800 111 6234. Our delivery procedure is detailed below.

Our Engineered Delivery Procedure

Each of our hire products come with a choice of delivery and collection options to suit you. We provide same day delivery, next day delivery and even weekend deliveries. The office will ring you the working day before to confirm your estimated delivery time.

Your item or items will arrive with one of our trained delivery drivers who will set up your equipment for you and show you how it works.
You can then use your equipment for as long as you require.
Once the time comes for you to return the rental equipment to us give us a call to book this in.
One of our drivers will arrive on the pre-arranged day to collect the equipment from you and return it back to us.

Ending Your Rental

You can end your rental at any time by contacting a member of our team by telephone on 0800 111 6234 or filling in our contact us form. The hire will conclude 2 working days following notice to allow time for collection. Our office will ring you to confirm the collection time the working day before collection.

If you would like the rental equipment collected from a different address to the delivery address this is not a problem. You can select your different collection address when booking online or you can give our team a call who will be happy to take the different collection address from you.

Collecting In-Store

If you decide to collect your equipment from our store, you will need to phone the office to book a collection slot which is quick, easy and convenient for you.
Please note: if you decide to collect from our showroom, you will need to bring two forms of I.D from the following list:

A letter from the Department of Work and Pensions

Utility Bills

Bank Statements
