Aston Mobile Showerchair Commode
The Aston Mobile Showerchair Commode is perfect for users with limited mobility. It can be used as both a showerchair, allowing the user to sit when showering, and also as a commode when placed over a toilet. Braked castors make it simple to move between rooms and around the bathroom either by an atttendant or a user. With a user weight of up to 160kg (25 stone), it’s suitable for larger or heavier users too. The seat is moulded, ensuring top-quality comfort when in use. The back and armrests are suitable for use in wet environments and easy to clean, as is the rest of this for-hire showerchair commode.
Lightweight and Easy to Move
Personal care can be maintained thanks to the Aston Mobile Showerchair Commode, particularly as it is made of leightweight, rustproof aluminium. This makes sure it’s easy to move around when needed. The height of this rental commode can also be adjusted, meaning it’s suitable for users of different heights. Swing in/out footplates and flip-up armrests make for easy side or front transfers too. The footplates are also angle adjustable, making sure the user is at their most comfortable at all times. The backrest can be adjusted without the use of tools to suit the user, making this a fully adjustable showerchair commode. Easy to clean, this rental showerchair commode is perfect for home or hospital use.

Fully adjustable, with a high weight capacity and easily movable, the Aston Mobile Showerchair Commode is an ideal showerchair or commode for use in a variety of settings. For users with restricted mobility it is easily manouvrable and extremely versatile for hygenic use. Rust-proof aluminium ensures it’s suitable for use time after time in the bathroom. Along with this, the four castor wheelcs allow for users to be moved from toilet to shower or vice-versa with ease.
For fleet purchase products we offer a three-month warranty. Powered products come with new batteries.
For new purchase products we offer one years’ warranty.
Engineered / Courier Delivery
When you rent from us, we take payment on a weekly or monthly basis depending on how long you require the equipment for. Payments will be taken from the debit or credit card you used at the point of booking until you arrange collection. If you would like to change the card at any time please give the team a call on 0800 111 6234. Our delivery procedure is detailed below.
Our Engineered Delivery Procedure
Each of our hire products come with a choice of delivery and collection options to suit you. We provide same day delivery, next day delivery and even weekend deliveries. The office will ring you the working day before to confirm your estimated delivery time.
- Your item or items will arrive with one of our trained delivery drivers who will set up your equipment for you and show you how it works.
- You can then use your equipment for as long as you require.
- Once the time comes for you to return the rental equipment to us give us a call to book this in.
- One of our drivers will arrive on the pre-arranged day to collect the equipment from you and return it back to us.
Our Courier Delivery Procedure
Each of our hire products come with a choice of delivery and collection options to suit you. We provide same day delivery, next day delivery and even weekend deliveries.
Courier items ordered before 3pm will be available for next working day delivery. Your item(s) will arrive in a custom-made box, which must be kept in order for the equipment to be returned to us.
With an independent courier service Horizon Mobility Ltd [HML] cannot be held responsible for timing on this delivery. HML will make every effort to ensure that the courier resolves their problem as soon as is possible to ensure they complete the service in a full and timely fashion.
What to Do When Your Courier Delivery Arrives
After your delivery has been made you will simply need to:
- Remove the packaging (remember to keep this)
- Remove your equipment from its box
- Put your mobility equipment together, if needed, using the instructions provided
- Your equipment is now ready to use
- If anything is unclear, please give one of our team a call on 0800 111 6234 and they will be happy to walk you through the process
You can then use your equipment for as long as you require.
Once the time comes for you to return the rental equipment to us:
- Dismantle the equipment
- Place it back in its packaging
- Call our office and we can book in a day for the courier to collect from you
- A driver will arrive to collect the equipment from you and return it to us
Ending Your Rental
You can end your rental at any time by contacting a member of our team by telephone on 0800 111 6234 or filling in our contact us form. The hire will conclude 2 working days following notice to allow time for collection. Our office will ring you to confirm the collection time the working day before collection.
If you would like the rental equipment collected from a different address to the delivery address this is not a problem. You can select your different collection address when booking online or you can give our team a call who will be happy to take the different collection address from you.
Collecting In-Store
If you decide to collect your equipment from our store, you will need to phone the office to book a collection slot which is quick, easy and convenient for you.
Please note: if you decide to collect from our showroom, you will need to bring two forms of I.D from the following list:
Passport
Driving Licence
A letter from the Department of Work and Pensions
Utility Bills
Bank Statements
Fleet Purchase Delivery Information
Standard Delivery – Our standard delivery option is free on all purchase orders over £40, your item(s) will arrive with one of our delivery drivers normally between the hours of 8am-6pm on working weekdays, approximately 5-7days after you have placed your order. The office will contact you the day before delivery by telephone to confirm your delivery slot.
Our standard delivery is a “pavement” delivery, this means the delivery driver will unload it from the van for you but will not take the item in to your property or set up the item. Please be aware that some of these items are heavy and you may need to arrange assistance to move or set up the equipment once delivered to you.
Standard delivery covers England and Wales only, other delivery areas may be available but these will need to be quoted on an individual basis. Please call our dedicated team on 0800 111 6234 to discuss other delivery areas.
Engineered Delivery – An engineered delivery covers for a fully-trained delivery driver to come along to your chosen delivery address and they will assemble/install your product plus demonstrate how to use it correctly. The cost for this service is calculated using the first part of the postcode for the delivery address. If you add your chosen product to your shopping cart and at the beginning of the checkout process you will be able to calculate this cost and see the delivery options available to you. You will have a choice of days for when you would like delivery. Depending on your postcode there are set “standard” delivery days, if these are not convenient then you may also have the option to select an “other” day delivery or collection including next day, same day and weekend options. These are charged at a different rate to the standard delivery days.
Engineered delivery is only available in England and Wales, other delivery areas may be available but these will need to be quoted on an individual basis. Please call our dedicated team on 0800 111 6234 to discuss other delivery areas.
New Purchase Delivery Information
Standard Delivery – Our standard delivery option is free on all purchase orders over £40, your item(s) will arrive boxed with a courier anytime between 8am-6pm on working weekdays, approximately 5-7days after you have placed your order. We will contact you the day before to let you know your item(s) is being shipped for delivery the following working day.
Our standard delivery is a “pavement” delivery, this means the delivery driver will unload it from the van for you but will not take the box in to your property or set up the item. Please be aware that some of these items are heavy and you may need to arrange assistance to move or unpack the box once delivered to you.
Standard delivery is available for UK Mainland, other delivery areas may be available but these will need to be quoted for on an individual basis. Please call out dedicated team on 0800 111 6234 to discuss other delivery areas.
Engineered Delivery – An engineered delivery covers for a fully-trained delivery driver to come along to your chosen deliver address and they will assemble/install your product plus demonstrate how to use it correctly. They will also remove any unnecessary packaging for disposal or recycling.
The cost for this service is calculated using the first part of the postcode for the delivery address. If you add your chosen product to your shopping cart and at the beginning of the checkout process you will be able to calculate this cost and see the delivery options available to you. You will have a choice of days for when you would like delivery.
