In this package our popular adult’s manual wheelchair has been coupled with our lightweight folding powerpack, to create a user-friendly option for those who may struggle to push a wheelchair. You no longer need to worry about pushing a wheelchair up or down kerbs, hills, slopes or over longer distances thanks to this package of wheelchair with power assist.
Revolutionary lightweight folding powerpack to support pushing a wheelchair
The lightweight powerpack is a revolutionary push aid for manual wheelchairs and is the only one on the market that can be folded while still attached to the wheelchair. It is also extremely lightweight at only 3kg and comes in a handy back pack, this makes transporting and storing it incredibly easy and simple. This Sunrise R20 powerpack supports the attendant pushing the wheelchair in lots of everyday situations where you may have previously struggled.
Folding wheelchair powered pushing aid with excellent range
This folding wheelchair powerpack is powered by a powerful 1.5kg powerful 5.8Ah lithium ion battery, offering the users a range of up to 15km per charge and a recharging time of 4.5-5hrs. Its easy to use controls feature a one button on/off and light up display to show you the battery capacity remining and the speed range setting.
A wheelchair package with an integrated freewheel allowing a self-drive option for ease of use
The adult’s manual wheelchair can be ordered with either large rear self-propelling wheels or you can opt for the smaller transit rear wheels. The folding powerpack has an added advantage of not needing to be removed from the wheelchair for the person sitting the wheelchair to be able to use the self-propelling wheels. Thanks to the integrated freewheel drive, you simple lift the drive wheel of the powerpack off the ground, with the hook provided and then you can use the wheelchair with out the power assist. This allows you maximum independence when you require it.
This wheelchair is available in 3 different seat widths of 16″, 18″ & 20″ making this a suitable option for more people. The adult’s manual wheelchair come with standard legrests but should you require it, elevating legrests can be added as an additional extra. There are also the options to have added cushions for extra comfort, a seat belt for added safety and stick holders if needed.

Important information
We are very happy to provide you with product information and specifications over the telephone or via email but unfortunately, we are unable to make any product recommendations for you. This is because we do not know your individual circumstances or your health requirements.
Wheelchairs are sent next day using an independent courier, orders placed before noon should be with you the following working day. Please read our terms of delivery and collection, placing an order confirms you have read and accept these delivery terms and conditions. Please note that at the end of the short term hire, the hire will only conclude 2 working days following notice, allowing us time to collect.
NB. It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that the hired product will fit through all access doorways and entrance points, to be able to complete a successful delivery or collection. Any re-delivery or re-collection attempts that need to be made in the case where a hired product does not fit through doorways or access points will be chargable to the hirer. Product dimensions and specifications are provided on the website, if you require any additional measurements to ensure successful delivery or collection it is the responsibility of the hirer to contact Mobility Hire and get these measurements.
If a valid VAT Disclaimer is not submitted within 7 days after commencement of the booking, then the VAT will be collected. If a valid VAT Disclaimer is then submitted and a VAT refund authorised, then a £5.00 administration charge will be made to cover time and costs for refunding the VAT
NEW PRODUCT – A NEW product is just that, brand new and you will be the first user.
FLEET PRODUCT – Carefully prepared this product will have been used, but as we have to service, insure, and repair, then you can benefit from a lesser hire cost. Go for fleet and if you are not happy with the product when it arrives, you can change your rental to a NEW one
TRAVELLING ABROAD: Please note if you are taking any of our hire equipment outside of the country, please be aware that while we are here and very happy to provide you with full telephone or email support, we are unable to provide engineer visits or provision of parts until you are back in the UK.
Condition of products to purchase
Our products that are available to purchase come in two categories:
New – Product is brand new and never been used.
Fleet – Product has been used but has been serviced and is in good condition. By choosing a Fleet product for your purchase you will benefit from a reduced purchase price.
Types of Delivery
Two delivery options are available for products purchased from us:
Standard Delivery – Your order will arrive with one of our delivery drivers between 8am-6pm Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays), approximately 5-7 days after the order has been placed. You will be contacted by the office the day before your delivery is due to arrive with confirmation of a time slot.
It is important to note that with this type of delivery it is a “kerbside” delivery which means that the driver will unload your item(s) from the van but will not take the item into the property or set up the item. Some of the items can be very heavy and you may need to arrange assistance with moving and setting up the equipment once it has been delivered.
Our standard delivery service only applies to England and Wales. Areas outside of this may be available but would need to be discussed with our customer service team on 0800 111 6234 who will be able to provide a quote for this service.
Engineered Delivery – An engineered delivery includes a fully trained delivery driver delivering your products and will set up/assemble your product along with demonstrating how to use it correctly. Finally, any packaging is taken away so you don’t have to worry about disposal or recycling.
Our engineered delivery service only applies to England and Wales. Areas outside of this maybe available but would need to be discussed with our customer service team on 0800 111 6234 who will be able to provide a quote for this service.
Costs
There are two different costs associated with these types of deliveries:
Standard Delivery – Is free on all purchases above £40
Engineered Delivery – This cost is calculated based on the first part of the delivery postcode. By adding your chosen product to the basket at the beginning of the checkout process you will be able to access delivery cost and the delivery options that are available to you. There are set “standard” delivery days depending on your postcode, if these days are not convenient you have the option to select “other” day for delivery this includes same day, next day and weekend options. These are charged at a different rate to the standard delivery days.
Collection
We also offer collection from our premises if you would prefer. Collection is free of charge, but it does need to be arranged with our customer service team beforehand. Collection is available Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 5.00pm (excluding bank holidays). Call our customer service team on 0800 111 6234 to arrange your collection slot.
If you decide to go ahead with collection, you will need to bring along two forms of I.D. We accept any of the following:
Passport
Driving Licence
A letter from the Department of Work and Pensions
Utility Bill
Bank Statement
VAT Disclaimer
If you are eligible to not pay VAT on your purchased item(s) we require a valid VAT Disclaimer form to be submitted within 7 days of your purchase, other the VAT will be charged for your order. If we then receive a valid VAT Disclaimer form and a VAT refund is authorised a £5 administration charge will be deducted to cover the time and cost for refunding the VAT.
Warranty
For new purchases we offer one years’ warranty
For fleet purchases we offer a three – month warranty. All powered fleet products are supplied with new batteries.
