This dual motor Cocoon rise and recliner chair offers an ideal seating solution for people requiring a bit of help with getting from sitting to standing and back again, or wish to be able to raise their feet and lay back stretched out. These electric lift chairs are ultra-soft and incredibly comfortable, plus they come with all over pressure relief for those who are at risk of pressure sores or tissue damage.
Electric reclining armchair with removeable and swing away armrests
These user-friendly electric reclining armchairs are loaded with features including removeable and swing away armrests. This makes side transfers in and out of these hire riser chairs simple and accessible for more users. This chair is also ideal for use in residential and care settings thanks to its compliance with fire regulations and its ease of cleaning. Our “hoist friendly kit” raises the chair up by 12cm to allow for a hoist to be used with the cocoon chairs.
Dual motor cocoon rise and recliner chair for independent safe and supportive positioning
The Cocoon chairs are dual motor allowing you to adjust the reclining back rest independently of the leg rest. This gives you more flexibility to find a position that is safe and comfortable plus offers you support and assistance into a standing position.
4-Way stretch dartex fabric for ideal pressure distribution
This chair features a technical Crib 5 vinyl outer fabric. The seating surfaces and cushions use Dartex fabric.
Dartex is a four-way stretch material that follows the contours of the cushion. This helps distribute pressure more evenly and improves overall comfort. The fabric is also vapour permeable, waterproof, anti-fungal, and stain resistant. As a result, it is easy to keep clean and maintain a high level of hygiene.
The chair is available in several size options. Choose from seat widths of 44cm or 50cm, both with a 45cm seat depth. Alternatively, a 50cm seat width is also available with a deeper 55cm seat depth.

For fleet purchase products we offer a three-month warranty. Powered products come with new batteries.
For new purchase products we offer one years’ warranty.
Fleet Purchase Delivery Information
Standard Delivery – Our standard delivery option is free on all purchase orders over £40, your item(s) will arrive with one of our delivery drivers normally between the hours of 8am-6pm on working weekdays, approximately 5-7days after you have placed your order. The office will contact you the day before delivery by telephone to confirm your delivery slot.
Our standard delivery is a “pavement” delivery, this means the delivery driver will unload it from the van for you but will not take the item in to your property or set up the item. Please be aware that some of these items are heavy and you may need to arrange assistance to move or set up the equipment once delivered to you.
Standard delivery covers England and Wales only, other delivery areas may be available but 111 6234 to discuss other delivery areas.
Engineered Delivery – An engineered delivery covers for a fully-trained delivery driver to come along to your chosen delivery address and they will assemble/install your product plus demonstrate how to use it correctly. The cost for this service is calculated using the first part of the postcode for the delivery address. If you add your chosen product to your shopping cart and at the beginning of the checkout process you will be able to calculate this cost and see the delivery options available to you. You will have a choice of days for when you would like delivery. Depending on your postcode there are set “standard” delivery days, if these are not convenient then you may also have the option to select an “other” day delivery or collection including next day, same day and weekend options. These are charged at a different rate to the standard delivery days.
Engineered delivery is only available in England and Wales, other delivery areas may be available but these will need to be quoted on an individual basis. Please call our dedicated team on 0800 111 6234 to discuss other delivery areas.
New Purchase Delivery Information
Standard Delivery – Our standard delivery option is free on all purchase orders over £40, your item(s) will arrive boxed with a courier anytime between 8am-6pm on working weekdays, approximately 5-7days after you have placed your order. We will contact you the day before to let you know your item(s) is being shipped for delivery the following working day.
Our standard delivery is a “pavement” delivery, this means the delivery driver will unload it from the van for you but will not take the box in to your property or set up the item. Please be aware that some of these items are heavy and you may need to arrange assistance to move or unpack the box once delivered to you.
Standard delivery is available for UK Mainland, other delivery areas may be available but these will need to be quoted for on an individual basis. Please call out dedicated team on 0800 111 6234 to discuss other delivery areas.
Engineered Delivery – An engineered delivery covers for a fully-trained delivery driver to come along to your chosen deliver address and they will assemble/install your product plus demonstrate how to use it correctly. They will also remove any unnecessary packaging for disposal or recycling.

If you add your chosen product to your shopping cart and at the beginning of the checkout process you will be able to calculate this cost and see the delivery options available to you. You will have a choice of days for when you would like delivery.
