Sunrise Q50R Folding Powerchair: Transportable & Easy Storage
Sunrise Q50R Folding Powerchair is a new addition to our rental powerchair fleet! One of the most compact folding powerchairs we’ve seen, the Q50R can be folded away when not in use and easily stored – whether it’s under the stairs or in the boot of most cars, the Q50R can be easily put away until you need it.
With a maximum user weight of 136kg (21.4 stone) it’s suitable for larger or heavier users too. The rental Q50R also has a good range making it perfect for those about town trips! Best of all, its folding functionality is tool-free. That means you simply flip up the clip, fold the footplate and push the backrest down to fold it to the floor.
A top speed of 6km/h means you’ll be zipping down to the shops or out to meet friends in no time!
Small Width For Indoor and Outdoor Use
An amazingly narrow width of just 600mm (60cm) means it’s perfect for use indoors as well as outdoors. No longer will you have to worry about whether your powerchair can get around those tight corners at home or in the supermarket.
Busy rooms can be easily navigated and with a turning circle of just 1200mm (120cm), you can almost turn on a sixpence! Kitchens, hallways and other previously restricted places are now effortlessly accessible. Flip-up arms allow for easy side transfers, whilst the centre-mount footrest also flips up, providing you with all the room you need and enhancing your comfort.

The longer length of this for-hire powerchair also provides greater stability. You can safely travel on gradients of up to ten degrees. Anti-tips are also provided as-standard too, again ensuring your safety.

Courier Delivery
When you rent from us, we take payment on a weekly or monthly basis depending on how long you require the equipment for. Payments will be taken from the debit or credit card you used at the point of booking until you arrange collection. If you would like to change the card at any time please give the team a call on 0800 111 6234.
Courier Delivery Procedure
Each of our hire products come with a choice of delivery and collection options to suit you. We provide same day delivery, next day delivery and even weekend deliveries.
Courier items ordered before 3pm will be available for next working day delivery. Your item(s) will arrive in a custom-made box, which must be kept in order for the equipment to be returned to us.
With an independent courier service Horizon Mobility Ltd [HML] cannot be held responsible for timing on this delivery. HML will make every effort to ensure that the courier resolves their problem as soon as is possible to ensure they complete the service in a full and timely fashion
What to Do When Your Delivery Arrives
After your delivery has been made you will simply need to:
- Remove the packaging (remember to keep this)
- Remove your equipment from its box
- Put your mobility equipment together, if needed, using the instructions provided
- Your equipment is now ready to use
- If anything is unclear, please give one of our team a call on 0800 111 6234 and they will be happy to walk you through the process
You can then use your equipment for as long as you require.
Once the time comes for you to return the rental equipment to us:
- Dismantle the equipment
- Place it back in its packaging
- Call our office and we can book in a day for the courier to collect from you
- A driver will arrive to collect the equipment from you and return it to us
Ending Your Rental
You can end your rental at any time by contacting a member of our team by telephone or filling in our contact us form. The hire will conclude 2 working days following notice to allow time for collection. Our office will ring you to confirm the collection time the day before collection.
If you would like the rental equipment collected from a different address to the delivery address this is not a problem. You can select your different collection address when booking online or you can give our team a call who will be happy to take the different collection address from you.
Collecting In-Store
If you decide to collect your equipment from our store, you will need to phone the office to book a collection slot which is quick, easy and convenient for you.
Please note: if you decide to collect from our showroom, you will need to bring two forms of I.D from the following list:
Passport
Driving Licence
A letter from the Department of Work and Pensions
Utility Bills
Bank Statements
